Rescues
We have been trying our best to help with the overpopulation problem at the shelters. We have taken the initiative to altar as many cats that we can get our hands on. We have worked hard to do this. We have had to take in some cats and quarantine them until tested healthy. All of these cats are short haired Domestic cats. We have worked with FACE to get them altered and a rabies vaccination. We have altered or taken in quite a few cats who sometimes have turned out to be pregnant. So we let them go full term and raise the litter in our home with our purebred cats. Some we had to do the 'trap neuter release' TNR using a cage to trap them then when altered be released back to the outdoors. Below are pictures of the rescues that we have available for adoption. There is a minimal adoption fee to cover food, supplies and time. In the pictures below, these two female are adults were the ones that turned out to be pregnant. The first one Chelsie is still somewhat skittish of people. I believe she is a seal sable color. The second one Cheyanne is very lovable. Cheyanne is also a very small tortie adult. We have vaccinated these cats we the distemper vaccination and of course we treat all our cats with Revolution for parasites.
The cats below are young adults about a year old. Born and raised here.
Kittens taken in deemed healthy.
